This is a weekly drop-in class, no partner required!

This is a weekly class is appropriate for Intermediate to Advanced level aerialists who are able to invert in the air unassisted multiple times. We will focus on foundational skills & theory for building sequences. No partner required. Ages 16+

DuoTrapeze: Mount-a-Palooza!

Get ready for a load of mounts! We’ll be serving up a smorgasbord of fresh and funky ways to launch a flyer. We’ll traverse the classics as well as novel finds using direct pathways and divergent roundabouts. Not to be forgotten - base stylin’s such as go-to in’s, outs and transitions for Catcher’s and Seated porter positions. 

No partner needed! No Trapeze or partnering experience required! 
Pre-Reqs: ability to invert in the air unassisted
Level: Intermediate aerialist (ideally 1+ year aerial experience) *exceptions can be made!
Duos: open to partners of all levels (new duos & seasoned pairs)

Workshops at Trapeze over Colorado

Get in Someone’s Face: Double’s Trapeze

Friday, 4.10.26, 12:30-2pm
Partner up on the Trapeze! Students will learn a short double trapeze routine. We’ll break down the sequence into digestible segments, explore the transitions & bring it all together. 
Prerequisites: Beginner to intermediate level. Students who have a fundamental understanding of aerial movement & who are able to invert unassisted in the air multiple times will get the most out of this workshop. 
New to duotrapeze? No problem! We'll show you the ropes (& the bar) & how to get in someone's face...but with artistic intent :)

Twisted Trapeze

Saturday, 4.11.26, 10-11:30am
We'll explore some of our favorite twisting, spinning, flipping, rolling, & cart-wheeling moves on the Doubles Trapeze. 
Prerequisites: Students who have a fundamental understanding of DuoTrapeze (or other aerial apparatus base/flyer partnering) & who are able to invert unassisted in the air multiple times will get the most out of this workshop. 
**Exceptions can be made, just ask us!

Release 101! DuoTrapeze

Release 101! DuoTrapeze release skills dissection! We'll introduce drills to empower students with progressions for full release moves. Expect to learn about:

- calibration & tempo

- compression technique

- how to fall (planned bails for learning pathway)

- skill specific risk assessment
